2nd grade students created black & white backgrounds using nice/positive words. Next, they traced a heart shape and their own hand (some needing help from a friend), cut them both out and glued the pieces to their backgrounds to create color contrast artwork.
I liked this project a lot because it is great to show the importance of working together to produce a finished project to be proud of. Mrs. Pearce's Aunt "D"
