Winter House and Tree


Kindergartners glued down simple shapes to assemble a house and a tree onto blue background paper.  Then using cotton swabs and white paint, students added snow to finish their winter artwork.

 

 

Holiday Lights


4th grade students created holiday lights by blending oil pastels to create “glowing” values.

 

 

 


Model Magic Snowmen


1st graders molded and stacked three spheres to create a snowmen using Crayola Model Magic.  Afterwards students drew facial features and buttons using a black marker, they added arms and a carrot nose using colored chenille stems, and to complete their project students wrapped a scarf around their snowman using a piece of colored felt.

Ornaments

5th graders painted analogous colored ornaments; analogous (uh-NAL-uh-gus) colors sit next to each other on the color wheel.  Then using oil pastels, students drew pine tree branches and then added their ornaments to complete their artwork.


 

 


Symmetrical Elf Legs

3rd graders designed symmetrical elf legs with both their legs and boots having the same details and colors.


 

 

 

 

Snowflakes

4th grade practiced folding and cutting snowflakes using coffee filters.

  

 

Fall Trees

4th graders painted soft flowing “wind” for their backgrounds, then added a whimsical fall tree using smooth lines, followed by adding golden glitter to represent fallen leaves.
