I give the students a 12” x 12” white paper. We fold it in half both ways and then open the
paper up and draw a line using the fold to guide us. So at this point we have 4 sections. Then I hand out 12” rulers. We line the ruler up to the side of the white
paper and make a mark at 3 inches and again at 9 inches. We do this to all four sides of our white
square paper. Then we use the ruler to
draw a line from each mark they just made to the center point of their paper
where the lines intersect.
Very helpful, thank you!
