Color Wheels

5th graders painted a 12 section color wheel showing the primary, secondary and intermediate colors in order.

Pumpkin Patch

1st graders used markers to turn their white Model Magic orange. 
Then students molded it into pumpkin shaped forms.

Mondrian Spiderwebs

1st graders observed the use of black lines and primary colors in artwork by Piet Mondrian.  They then created Mondrian inspired Spiderwebs!

Laurel Burch inspired Cats

2nd graders are working on painting their Laurel Burch inspired cats.  I love how these are turning out so far... can't wait to share the finished projects.

Secondary Birds

1st graders used simple shapes to draw birds and then colored them using the secondary colors - green, orange, and purple.

Scissor Control

Kindergarteners drew straight, wavy, and zigzag lines to guide their cutting as they practice using scissors with control.
