5th grade students were finishing up a very exciting robot lesson right before school was shut down due to COVID-19. One of the 5th grade classrooms have not yet assembled their robots so the project is not complete, but here are some images about the lesson.
Students chose their color background construction paper and then I hot glued down two pieces of a cardboard jewelry box, one being for their robots head and the other for their robots torso. Students then got to select multiple items they could use to assemble onto the boxes to create their robot. However before assembly, students had to design a blue print for what their robots would look like considering functional questions in their design.
