3rd graders created paper chicken sculptures. First students painted yellow construction paper, then cut out additional paper features, and finally assembled everything with the help of glue and tape.

Kente Paper Weaving
2nd graders used vertical and horizontal lines to decorate paper before weaving it to create the kente cloth inspired attire for their person.

Snakes
Kindergartners had fun making colored shape snakes! Using primary (red, yellow, blue) and secondary (green, orange, purple) colored construction paper; students drew different shapes on each section with markers.
Robots
2nd graders used geometric shapes to draw robots. Then students identified, and separated, the foreground from the background by adding color to only the background using crayons.
