Q-Tip & Model Magic Skeletons

3rd graders discussed figures in motion and practiced gesture drawings.  Then students drew a rough-draft of their skeletons, molded a skull using model magic, then glued and assembled their skeletons using Q-Tips for bones.  Afterwards students followed along with Art Hub for Kids on YouTube to create skeleton drawings.

Pumpkins in a field.

2nd grade students follows step-by-step directions to draw a pumpkin sitting in a field.  Students then had the choice of turning it into a Jack-O'Lantern and adding more objects to their background.

Fall Circle Trees

Kindergartners used different fall colored paper to trace, cut, and glue on different sized circles as leaves to complete their classroom Fall Tree.

EYES!

5th grade students learned about a 12 part color wheel.  Students divided their papers into 12 sections, labeled each section, and then painted using primary, secondary and intermediate colors.  After it dried, students chose their "skin" color and assembled their eyes including lashes.
