Ornaments on a Pine Branch
5th graders used watercolors to paint three ornaments showing analogous colors. They then used oil pastels to draw three pine branches using different values of green for the needles.

Holiday Stockings
To help decorate the walls for their Winter Music Concert, 4th grade students designed, colored, and cut out Holiday Stockings.

Hawaiian Shirts
2nd graders have been practicing for their Winter Music Concert and will be singing a Hawaiian song about the holidays. To help collaborate, students created Hawaiian Shirts with Flower Leis during art. First students choose their shirt color and then stamped white paint using a flower stencil design. Once dry, they cut out the shirt shapes and assembled adding trim and collar pieces. To complete the look, students thread paper flowers onto yarn to hang as leis over their shirts.

Stamped Snowmen
1st grade students stamped white paint onto blue construction paper to create a snowman shape on top of a pile of snow. Then once dry, students glued on hats and arms, and then drew additional features using markers.

Elf Legs - Symmetry
3rd graders designed symmetrical Elf Legs using markers and crayons. Glitter was added at the end to enhance their artwork... and its fun!
