Mouse Paint

2nd grade students were read Mouse Paint by Ellen Walsh and then assembled art showing the primary and secondary colors. 
Students also worked on drawings that illustrated four ways to Respect Others by being good friends.

The Color Wheel

5th grade students are learning the order of the color wheel by completing a chart and labeling the primary, secondary and intermediate colors.

Color Mixing

1st grade students conducted experiments by mixing primary colored Kool-Aid to create secondary colors.  Afterwards, they created color equations to show that... red + blue = purple, red + yellow = orange, and yellow + blue = green.
